The creator Stephenie Meyer will appear on Oprah this Friday. The reclusive author said her appearance will be the only interview she’ll give to promote New Moon.
On her website she wrote:
“Since I’m only doing one interview, better make it big. Really big… Of course, most of the questions for Oprah will be designed for a broader audience than just die-hard ‘Twilight‘ fans, and I imagine people who read this site and other fansites will already know most of the answers.” Link...

ROBERT Pattinson has revealed today he’s a Team Jacob fan.
The Twilight star, who plays Edward Cullen and is the face of Team Edward, says he would love to play Jacob.
Gesturing towards Taylor at a press conference to promote the latest film New Moon in London today Rob said: “I’ve always wanted your part – even when we’re doing scenes together!”

What A Difference A Day Makes: Rob And Kristen Actually Smile For Fans!

Undercover lovers Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart dropped the brooding bit to smile and wave for fans in Paris on the balcony of the Hotel Crillon today along with Taylor Lautner and New Moon director Chris Weitz.
Sure, they're still careful to put Taylor Lautner in between them for the photo call (like that really makes a difference) but it looks like being in Paris has lifted their spirits.
Even Kristen ditched her punk-rock duds for a beautiful strapless gown for the occasion. And thank gawd that horrible femmullet is finally starting to grow out!
Let's just hope Robsten take advantage of the city of love while they're there -- but it looks as if they already are! Link...

'Twilight' among People's Choice Awards nominees

LOS ANGELES — Nominees for the People's Choice Awards are out, and the people choose vampires.
"Twilight" and "True Blood" were among the top nominees announced Tuesday. Fans cast more than 18 million votes online to select the nominee slate and will also choose the winners in 35 categories.
"Twilight" is up for favorite movie, franchise and on-screen team for its trio of stars: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Stewart and Pattinson were also nominated individually for favorite movie actress and actor, and Lautner is up for breakout movie actor.
"True Blood" was nominated for favorite TV obsession and sci-fi/fantasy TV show, plus star Anna Paquin earned a nod for TV drama actress.

'New Moon': Team Edward or Team Jacob debate continues

Sometimes it’s hard to be a celebrity. November 2009 is one of them. Chances are, stars will, at some point this month, be asked if they’re on Team Edward or Team Jacob. I myself asked The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder to enter the debate recently during a Pop Culture Personality Test interview (so totally legit line of questioning!), and having never read the books or seen the first film, he was unable to choose a side. I can appreciate that someone wouldn’t want to judge what he or she has not seen, however fluffy that something is, but if I were a publicist, I’d be telling my clients to have an answer at the ready regardless. You’ll get ink even if you’re undecided: “Edward Cullen — I would write a love song to him,” Demi Lovato told MTV News, before adding, “Or Jacob Black!” (Ditto, if you’re arguably the least popular Backstreet Boy: AJ McLean is Team Edward. Michael Sheen vamps it up in 'New Moon'
VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- It's a crisp May morning on the set of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," and Michael Sheen strides into an elaborate reconstruction of an Italianate marble hall in costume as Aro, the head of the Volturi, a menacing group of age-old vampires that metes out justice in the realm of the supernatural. Dressed in a cloak, he's sporting long, black locks, bright red lips and matching tinted contact lenses that give him a distinctly malevolent look.
When a reporter asks if it's uncomfortable to look through the eyes of a monster, he suggests, quite politely and quite to the contrary: "No, I think it's more uncomfortable for you."
Sheen does seem right at home on the Vancouver soundstage, inhabiting his villainous role in the second movie adapted from Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" novels with unbridled glee. Link...

Twilight and New Moon star Robert Pattinson reveals a feeling of closeness to Edward Cullen role
The star of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' Robert Pattinson has done yet another interview this time with Mexico's Cinemania magazine. It is a rather lengthy interview that covers everything from his Edward Cullen character and the weirdest scenes that they shot to fame and his favorite movies.
When asked how he prepared again for the Edward role in New Moon, Pattinson revealed, “The hardest thing for me about this sequel was finding the right way to express very complex feelings. My character has to go through many emotional states. It’s a very deep role, with a very special background, full of hidden meanings. Sometimes, trying to exteriorize that and perform it right, it can be very hard." Pattinson continues, "In that sense, that’s the closest I feel to him. There’s a whole bunch of new emotions and experiences that are new to me and I’m learning from them. An example? I thought of celebrating my birthday at the same bar I go to everyday and I never thought the stir it would cause.. Only I can be this obvious! I learned that things have changed in my life.
