Stephenie Meyer's enthusiasm dims for another Twilight book With sales of more than 70m copies she is the queen of teen vampire romance, but Twilight author Stephenie Meyer has announced that she's "a little burned out on vampires". Asked on the Oprah Winfrey show if she'd consider writing another book in the Twilight quartet, Meyer said that she had no immediate plans to return to the story of human teenager Bella and her vampire love interest Edward. "I think I need a little break," she said. "I've got to cleanse the palate ... I'm a little burned out on vampires right now." Her next book, she said, was likely to be a follow-up to her one adult novel The Host – about the invasion of earth by a species which takes over the minds of humans while leaving their bodies intact – which she sees as a trilogy, but it could also be something "completely different". "I have another book that's kind of been itching in the back of my brain, that's completely unrelated, totally fantasy. 'New Moon' star Kellan Lutz wows fang base NATICK, Mass. — The screams were loud enough to wake the undead. Several hundred "Twilight" fans poured into the Natick Collection last night to meet Kellan Lutz, who plays vampire Emmett Cullen in the popular book and film series. The second movie installment, "New Moon," opens Nov. 20. Seventy-five fans, who paid $75 at Nordstrom's junior department, had their photographs taken with Lutz, who autographed the photos. Another 500 fans who paid $30 for a Hot Topic T-shirt picked up autographed posters from the 24-year-old actor. After the band Hurricane Bells performed in the mall's event area, Lutz made another appearance, this time for a free half-hour question-and-answer session. Oprah brings Stephenie Meyer and “New Moon” to Twilight fans It may just be another Friday the 13th to you, but for “Twilight” fans today is something much more significant. It’s the day that author Stephenie Meyer will appear on “Oprah.” And it may also be a chance to catch a sneak preview of “New Moon,” [Ed’s note: Originally the book was mistakenly referred to as “Full Moon”] the film of the second book of Meyer’s “Twilight” teen vampire series, set to open in theaters on Nov. 20. Meyer’s appearance on Oprah is no small event in itself. By her own admission, the author has been “doing the hermit thing” for about a year now. And she says that her chat with Oprah will be the “one and only” interview she’ll do for “Full Moon.” Meyer told her fans that she chose the Oprah show because she figured that, “[S]ince I’m only doing one interview, better make it big. New Moon Stars Forced To Evacuate Their London Hotel! No need to freak out, people! The stars of New Moon are A-Okay! Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner had a little scare yesterday when they were forced to evacuate their London hotel after a fire alarm went off. An eyewitness at the Dorchester Hotel said that "everyone was out on the street" after the alarm sounded and the hotel was cleared. The star of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' has no immediate intentions to start endorsing produts...at least not intentionally. Pattinson says of endorsement deals, "You know ... it's kind of ...I think it's a little early to start selling out." However, he revealed, "I kind of unintentionally endorse Coca-Cola." New Moon Is One Month Away, So Taylor Gets Vicious, Robert Gets Randy One month. We've been waiting so long for New Moon to hit theaters, and today marks just one month left in our countdown. That's almost as exciting as this awesome new clip and all the rad new photos released today! In the scene, called "Jacob's Transformation," currently available on iTunes, Kristen Stewart is arguing with Taylor Lautner's pack. We're not quite sure how she can be so dour when surrounded by four seriously hot men not wearing shirts, but we guess when loose cannon Paul (Alex Meraz) says, "What did you do, little girl?" he had the big smack she gives him coming. So very much 'Twilight' news It's a bright, sunny day in the U.S. of A., but the world is hearkening Twilight right about now because The Twilight Saga: New Moon releases in exactly one month (and in a lot of places even sooner), and everyone knows it. Today's Twilight news rundown is a bit lengthy, so grab your coffee! For starters, obviously, the first released film clip from The Twilight Saga: New Moon has made its way to iTunes for your viewing pleasure. The scene was a great piece of the New Moon puzzle because it shows Bella approaching the wolfpack and asking them what has happened to Jacob. Of course, she doesn't know they're a wolfpack ... She probably thinks (if the film is like the book - which clearly it is) they're a cult that he doesn't want any part of at this point. When Paul scoffs at her suggestion that Jacob is afraid of them, she punches him in the face. When she does, Paul gets angry and excited and transforms into a werewolf right then and there. Though Sam tries to protect her from Paul by telling her to run, it is Jacob who saves the day. He does so by transforming into a wolf himself as she runs past him. The clip might look familiar to you since it was previewed, in part, in the very first teaser (think back to the days of the MTV Movie Awards) released by the studio. Link...

People magazine recently released a special Twilight Collector’s Edition issue, and it is chock-full of brand-new, gorgeous images from “New Moon”, and more importantly, our very first look at Edward and Bella in a meadow scene from “Eclipse”. It’s one of my favorite pictures of them!! The entire magazine has many more images and articles, but I only scanned the images that we have no seen before. Security 'tight' on Twilight set Michael Sheen says security was so tight on The Twilight Saga: New Moon that people couldn't even take photos on set. The actor, who plays Aro in the film, told Newsbeat there was somebody who was given the task of preventing leaks. He said: "I remember someone whose job was containment and I thought: 'What does that actually mean? Does that mean stopping people from getting on the set?' "And it wasn't, it was to stop people on the set taking pictures and sending them out." Taylor Lautner: 'New Moon' Is A Love Triangle Taylor Lautner recently spoke about his personal transformation that he had to go through to play Jacob in 'New Moon'. The actor put on 30 pounds of muscle in order to better fit the description of the character from the book. "When I was filming 'Twilight' I knew that Jacob's character changed a lot. So if I wanted to continue portraying him correctly, I had a lot of work ahead of myself." explained Lautner, "So as soon as I finished filming 'Twilight' I started hitting the gym, got a personal trainer, started eating a lot of food - good food, of course: proteins, good carbs, cut the sugars - and it was a lot of work, but it was definitely worth it." 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' Set Visit - Day Two After getting an up close view of the sets for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" on day one, this writer's second day on the sequel's set didn't seem much different at first. As we made our way into the soundstage, the film's principals were once again seen on the video monitors acting out more scenes from the initial Volturi meeting. Kristen Stewart Looks Fierce While Filming Her New Movie Socialitelife.com put up some new photos from the set of Kristen Stewart’s new movie “The Runaways”. The “New Moon” star plays Joan Jett in the film along with her “New Moon” cast mate Dakota Fanning who plays lead singer Cherie Currie in the film. It’s about a true life story of “The Runaways” all girl band group from the 70’s. They helped pave the way for more popular all girl band groups to emerge on the scene.
