The trees are so dense and the clouds hang so low that any time of day can feel like the sun is about to set. And when the wind blows, it delivers a chill like a frosty breath down the back of your neck.
When it rains, which is often, the rubber soles of your sneakers sink and slide in the mud and swollen raindrops bounce down the evergreens and land on your forehead with a splash.
I was standing in the spot where Edward breaks up with Bella at the beginning of the just-released The Twilight Saga: New Moon, sending her into a deep depression. An ultrapurist wouldn't let on in this review that Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), the Quileute Indian tribesman and childhood pal of vampire-smitten high school senior Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), reveals himself as a werewolf in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. (He also reveals himself as one tasty chunk of vealcake.) But I'm trusting that between the millions of Twilighters who have already read all four books in Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster series, and the additional billions who have seen the movie trailer, the beast is already out of the bag. The excellent news for fans is that this sequel to 2008's Twilight is a durable, recognizably faithful movie adaptation of New Moon. That, of course, is the second installment, in which Bella, a dazed, confused, moody, and otherwise identifiable teen-y girl, and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a smoldering, inscrutable, broody, and otherwise identifiable teen-throb vampire, swear true and chaste love while trying to keep their hands off each other. More 'New Moon' Soundtrack Details Revealed

"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" is one of the most feverishly anticipated film releases of the fall (out November 20), and with it comes one of the most talked-about soundtracks since, well, last year's "Twilight" soundtrack. One song has already been unleashed, as Death Cab for Cutie unveiled their contribution "Meet Me on the Equinox" on MTV.com during Sunday's VMAs. The full track list will be announced tomorrow, but there are already more details emerging about the album, due out October 20.
Music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas told The New York Times that she was "confident" the soundtrack would include already-rumored tracks from Radiohead's Thom Yorke, wintry indie folker Bon Iver and British alt-rockers Band of Skulls. Citing "group representatives," the Times also asked about rumors that the Killers and Grizzly Bear would have songs on the soundtrack, but Patsavas would not comment on either band. Link...

The actor, who plays Aro in the film, told Newsbeat there was somebody who was given the task of preventing leaks.

Taylor Lautner: 'New Moon' Is A Love Triangle

To be released during the theatrical previews for Summit Entertainment's next picture (with Vanessa Hudgens, Aly Michalka and Gaelen Connell) Bandslam, will officially be the newest preview for New Moon.

Will Fast Twilight Production Time After New Moon Impact the Twilight Saga?
With the Twilight sequel New Moon about to hit theatres in November and online buzz about the Twilight Saga gaining momentum, recent confirmations for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, the third and fourth films in the Twilight Saga, have already been announced with Eclipse set to begin shooting on August 17 in Vancouver, BC. Given the popularity of the Stephenie Meyer penned Twilight Saga novels, Summit Entertainment has clearly jumped at the chance to strike while the Twilight iron is still hot. But the filming schedule of the entire Twilight Saga is underway at breakneck speed, with each film Twilight adaptation shooting back-to-back-to-back. Given how fast we’ll be seeing the entire Twilight Saga come to life on the big screen, is there a chance that speed may forsake some of the magic of the novels and what Twilight fans want to see in the translations? Ladies, how thrilled would your daughters (or you) be to hear this tidbit of news? Kiowa Gordon, cast as werewolf Embry Call in New Moon, made dozens of teen fangirls happy when he appeared as a special guest at the San Carlos High School graduation in Arizona.
An article in Indian Country Today reveals a snippet from the graduation:
“What character do you play in the movie?’” a young female fan asked as Kiowa Gordon posed for pictures. “Embry Call,” replied Gordon, who was recently cast as one of five werewolves in the upcoming sequel to the blockbuster Twilight called New Moon. Recently Clevver TV put up this video recap of the “New Moon” teaser trailer and revealed some very interesting things that some of us might have missed while watching the trailer. Dana Ward, the host of the show starts out going over the different scenes of the trailer, starting with the passionate Bella and Edward clip.

"Twilight" Takes Home Top Prizes at MTV Movie Awards
The MTV Movie Awards were held Sunday evening at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City.
"Twilight" dominated the awards show, taking home top honors for "Best Movie," while Robert Pattinson, won three statues for "Breakthrough Performance Male," "Best Kiss" with co-star Kristen Stewart and "Best Fight" with Cam Gigandet. Stewart also won for "Best Female Performance." Read more...
