Official 'Twilight' Facebook Fan page reaches 5 million (and counting) The Official Twilight Facebook Fan page has just reached an incredible milestone: garnering its five millionth member.
Few Facebook pages in the world have accumulated as many fans as this, and administrators Lauren Suero and Heidi Bennett have watched the page grow from its infant stage of just a few thousand.
"I started working on the Twilight Facebook page in April of 2008," said Lauren Suero, one of two women responsible for administrating what is now the official Facebook go-to fan page for the Twilight series film franchise. "We were at 18,000 people. It was a very small and intimate page." Read more...

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have not signed up for fifth Twilight filmWe've already heard rumours that Twilight directors are considering splitting the final film, Breaking Dawn, in two.
But now it's been revealed that the film's top stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have not actually signed on for a fifth installment.

Both have just recieved nominations in the Best Movie Actor category.
Oddly enough, Robert Pattinson didn't recieve a nomination - we suppose organisers wanted a fair competition!
Zac's probably over the moon with the nomination after he left Disney's family-friendly films behind for more serious films, such as Me and Orson Welles. Read more...

Robert Pattinson experienced the "best day" of his life on the set of his new movie when an elephant picked him up in its mouth and turned him upside down.
The animal-loving Twilight actor is currently shooting circus movie Water for Elephants in California with Hollywood beauty Reese Witherspoon, but it was another female co-star who caught Pattinson's attention after a close encounter.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson – Twilight Eclipse Images A bunch of new looks at Twilight Eclipse, the third chapter of the Twilight Saga have hit the web featuring a ton of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in embrace. I’m seeing these on a ton of gossip rap site with nobody sourcing, but I’ve seen no evidence that Summit Entertainment itself released these (not that they ever answer me–though they should considering some they do seem to communicate with. Would definitely make things a lot easier and fruitful, for sure!). Anyways, more goodness for the Twihards!

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Confirmed as Two Movies
Listen up, Twilighters, because I’m only going to say this once. Nikki Finke has confirmed that the final book in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, “Breaking Dawn,” will be broken into two films. These two films will be shot back-to-back, and they will be brought to life by “high end” directors. This makes sense, as Twilight: Eclipse is currently being finished up by a director I would consider “high end,” David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hard Candy).
As you know, the final book — the longest in Meyer’s series — is divided into three parts, each telling a story from the point of view of one of the main characters, Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner). Read more...

Breaking Dawn will begin shooting in October according to Deadline Hollywood.
Breaking Dawn is the fourth novel in the Twilight Saga series and looks set to be split into two movies, following in the footsteps of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and The Hobbit.
Melissa Rosenberg is currently adapting the script but the project is yet to name the director that will lead the project. Read more...

Walmart has begun taking pre-orders for The Twilight Saga: New Moon "Ultimate Fan Edition" Blu-ray Disc and DVD. This new version is exclusive to Walmart and due in stores on March 20 alongside the Special Edition release.
The big news for Twilight fans regarding the Ultimate Fan Edition is it includes an exclusive 7-minute sneak peek at The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the sequel to New Moon whose first trailer has yet to see the light of day. These minutes will include a behind-the-scenes look at the production, new interviews with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and series-creator Stephenie Meyer; all integrated with on-the-set footage of some of the key scenes. According to TMZ, the 21 year old Kristen Stewart was on a jury duty as a part of her civic duty. Stewart was a member of a Los Angeles County jury that was deciding the fate of a man accused of trying to solicit a prostitute. The Twilight star attended a 3-day trial where the defense argued that their client was innocent as he did not speak or understand English well and the whole sex solicitation thing was just a case of lost in translation. The man was, however, pronounced innocent.

'Twilight' stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart named two of Vanity Fair's 'Top Moneymakers' Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (co-stars in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) have been named by Vanity Fair as two of Hollywood's "Top 40 Moneymakers."
According to one source, "Although agents, lawyers, studio executives and even the stars themselves provided the deal numbers, calculating the earning power isn't always an exact science."
Still, the publication places Stewart at thirty-seventh place with $16 million in 2009. Pattinson was placed thirty-fifth with $18 million. Read more...
