The below picture, straight from the set of TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 1 has hit the net today and it features Bob Patty snuggling with the baby of his co-star Alex Rice. Rice, of course, plays Sue Clearwater, the love interest to Bella’s father in the final film. You might be thinking, “hey, are you sure that’s not Renesmee” and my answer is “no, I’m not sure”. But the baby looks a lot like Alex, so I’m inclined to believe it’s hers. Link...

Twilight Breaking Dawn Volturi Set ImagesThe Volturi were out filming scenes on the streets of Louisiana this past Wednesday and several photographers were on hand on snap first looks at The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn vampires.

Yesterday, four castmembers from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 spent the day visiting the kids of Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Those four were Peter Facinelli ("Carlisle Cullen"), Elizabeth Reaser ("Esme Cullen"), Kellan Lutz ("Emmett Cullen"), and Nikki Reed ("Rosalie Hale"). In addition to visiting and spending time with the kids, they also brought along a few holiday gifts for the young ones - including New Moon swag in one case - with them as well! Link...

"Breaking Dawn" - Rob and Kristen give fans something to talk about as they head to Vancouver As the movie "Breaking Dawn" gets further into filming, Rob and Kristen have given their fans a lot to talk about. Now People reports Robsten have something else to give them to talk about.
Rob and Kristen were seen together in Baton Rouge, La. Thursday while joining several other cast members for dinner at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar restaurant. A source at the restaurant said the "Breaking Dawn" stars were very much into each other.
"Kristen and Rob were very couple-like," the insider told People. "There was a lot of hand-holding, sitting next to each other. Everyone was talking around the room, but Kristen and Rob were just talking to each other, not really into the conversations everyone else was having."
After filming for "Breaking Dawn" wraps in Baton Rouge, Rob and Kristen will head with the rest of the cast to Vancouver, B.C.. Link...

An eyewitness at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar in New Orleans - where the cast are currently filming - revealed: “They were sitting down and talking together most of the dinner.

Taylor Lautner To Star In 'Incarceron'Taylor Lautner is set to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Catherine Fisher's novel "Incarceron." Lautner will star as the protagonist, Finn, in the futuristic sci-fi tale.
The 18-year-old actor is also rumored to have joined the project as a producer.
"Incarceron" is the story of Finn, a young prisoner inside the futuristic prison Incarceron. Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, who are responsible for 2006's "Accepted" and the upcoming Brett Ratner project "Tower Heist," are set to write the screenplay.

"Breaking Dawn" is what's keeping Rob Pattinson busy, but his other movie, "Water for Elephants" will be hitting theaters April 2011. He reminds one of the movie's star of another heartthrob from the 90's, MTV reports. Rob's co-star in the movie, Reese Witherspoon said Rob reminds her of Leonardo DiCaprio from "Titanic."
"The only thing I can compare it to is when Leo was in 'Titanic,'" Witherspoon said. "It was that kind of fervor about a person. The women lining up outside the set—it was just unbelievable—till 5 o'clock in the morning waiting to just glimpse him."

Bootleg Footage of Twilight Breaking Dawn Honeymoon Scene Online
Over Thanksgiving break, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon released the first official photo from the movie. It featured Bella’s limp arm laying on a bed, with feathers surrounding it. It was a nod to the post-sex scene that takes place in the book and the film and it had fans in a tizzy. If you thought that was awesome, some bootleg footage has popped up online that features Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) on their honeymoon on the beach getting hot and heavy.
The footage was shot in Brazil where their long awaited honeymoon takes place. There’s a shot of Edward speaking to Bella while kneeling down that also features them sharing a kiss, while Bella wears a blue sweater over a swimsuit and Edward sports a tank top and some shorts. Why does the image of him wearing that throw us for a loop? Edward, dressing like a normal teenager just seems weird. link...

The Brazilian TV show Panico somehow managed to get by the the barriers set up at the Isle Esme location and film a bit of what went on inside the house at Ilse Esme, via hidden camera.

Shooting on Breaking Dawn has moved from the busy streets of Lapa to the more tranquil setting (if you discount the fans/paparazzi/security etc) of Taquari in the Rio municipality of Paraty.
In our pictures (click the link), stars Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) are seen heading back to the mainland via boat after spending seven hours filming romantic scenes at a local waterfall.
The area is doubling for Isle Esme, the island paradise where soon-to-be lovers Edward and Bella spend their honeymoon. Link...

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Brave Dangerous Trails To Film ‘Breaking Dawn!’
R-Patz & K-Stew journey through the jungle to film a romantic scene by a giant waterfall.
Since arriving in Rio de Janeiro on Nov. 5, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the entire Breaking Dawn crew have been busy filming the second-to-last installment in the Twilight saga — and they’ve been having quite the adventure. Brazilian website Gente reports that the couple, who is staying at Pausada do Ouro hotel, headed out just after 5 a.m. on Nov. 9 to film a romantic scene at a waterfall in the Taquari region. Producers tell the site that 15 security guards, as well as local police, were on hand to escort the crew along a blocked-off trail.


Prior to filming in the south of Rio, R-Patz and friends stayed at the Copacabana Palace hotel and filmed multiple scenes in town and in a church. Needless to say, it’s being speculated that they were filming Edward and Bella’s epic interspecies wedding! Link...

The people are being asked to speak, and they can choose Twilight — again.
Eclipse and its stars earned a People’s Choice Awards-leading eight nominations when the nods were announced on Tuesday.
Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner each earned “favorite movie actor” nominations, while Kristen Stewart is a candidate for “favorite movie actress.”
The trio of stars are together nominated for “favorite on-screen team,” while Stewart and Pattinson are included in the “favorite movie stars under 25″ category.
Eclipse is up for “favorite movie” and “favorite drama.”
Fans can vote on the categories until December 7. The awards will be handed out on January 5, 2011 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

'Twilight' filming sparks protests by Rio locals
RIO DE JANEIRO — Filming of the final installment of the "Twilight" vampires-and-werewolves movies in Rio de Janeiro has sparked protests by locals fed up with the inconvenience, media reported Monday.
Some residents in the central Lapa district where scenes from "Twilight 4: Breaking Dawn" are being filmed set fire to a crew's portable toilet Sunday and demonstrated over not being able to easily access their homes.
Tough security measures were thrown up around the production after an incident in August, when cast and crew from the movie found themselves in a deadly shoot-out between criminals and police in the hotel where they were staying. Link..

The entire cast of Twilight is slowly assembling in Baton Rouge, LA to begin work on the final two films of their hit series, and from the sound of it they are going to be awesome! Nikki Reed spoke with HollywoodLife.com Oct. 16 at Spike TV’s Scream Awards and said, “I’m really happy, really excited, I think the key to the success of the scripts are to stay true to the books. That’s the origin and what people love, it existed before we did, obviously it can’t be verbatim with a 800 page book, but they are making two movies out of it. Roles for Irina and Renesmee of 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' Have Been ChosenThe roles for Irina and Renesmee in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn have been cast. Maggie Grace, who formerly played Shannon on Lost, will be starring as Irina.
Irina is the vampire who runs to the Volturi - the Italian government of the vampire world - and rats out Bella and Edward for creating an immortal child. This information is actually false, and Irina must pay the consequences. Grace’s character in the beginning seasons of Lost was easy to dislike, setting a good foundation for her role as Irina in Breaking Dawn.
Nine-year-old Mackenzie Foy, who is a model and an actress, will most likely be playing the role of Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s interesting child. In The Twilight Saga, Renesmee is named after Bella’s mother Renee, and Edwards mother Esme. The child, who has a power unlike any of the other vampires, is quite the disturbing character. Link...

'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' Will Have Filming in Brazil
Twilight: Breaking Dawn, the final two films in the smash hit saga penned by Stephenie Meyer, will be partially filmed in Brazil, according to media reports on Tuesday.
A cast member on the film, Ashley Greene, confirmed with MTV News on the location.
In Breaking Dawn, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) will go on a honeymoon in Brazil, where Bella finds out about her pregnancy of a half human and half vampire baby, Renesmee. Link...

Stephenie Meyer considered 'biggest brightspot for the industry' last year
Yahoo!'s most recent "Who Knew?" video features Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer, and it reports that, where last year is concerned, she became the "biggest brightspot for the industry" in the face of overwhelming sales declines.
The number one topseller for the year, according to the report, was New Moon, and it was followed by Eclipse, Twilight, and Breaking Dawn. Link...

Twilight Breaking Dawn ‘To Shoot In Brazil’
Edward and Bella’s honeymoon in Twilight: Breaking Dawn is set to be shot in Brazil, according to star Ashley Greene.
Filming in the South American country was previously halted by bosses of the vampire films after security concerns.
But it seems Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will still be shooting in Brazil. Their co-star Greene revealed: “They are filming a few days [there], but I’m not there. It’s Bella and Edward’s honeymoon.” Link...

Breaking Dawn Birth Scene: "I Love the Way They're Showing It," Says Kellan Lutz
Let the countdown begin. Cameras are pretty close to rolling on Breaking Dawn.
"We start sometime in October and go all the way through to late April," Kellan Lutz says. "I just did a [wardrobe fitting] and a contact lenses test."
As for that much anticipated, hard-to-imagine birthing scene...
Lutz cracked, "I think they should show it and have Emmett in the background laughing."
Joking aside, Lutz says he knows what director Bill Condon has planned for the potentially gory sequence. "I love the way that they're showing it," he said. "I really thought that was going to be really a tough thing to show." Link...

'Twilight' news wrap
A couple of interesting Twilight related tidbits popped up this weekend, so to catch up on some of the stories which might've been missed, here's a Twilight news wrap.
First, Rachelle Lefevre ("Victoria" in Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon) did a really interesting interview with Red Carpet Diary's The YouTube Conversation about her work in Barney's Version. She talked about the difficulties of portraying her character as well as the exciting things she got to do in Rome, Italy while filming the movie. You can check it out in full here. Rachelle Lefevre had two films which showed at this year's Toronto Interntaional Film Festival - both Barney's and Casino Jack.

Twilight Saga News for Sept 24

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' hits Showtime in January
Back in July of last year, Showtime nabbed the pay cable rights to Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (they also house Peter Facinelli's Nurse Jackie and Melissa Rosenberg's Dexter), and they began running Twilight on cable in January of this year.
Thanks to HitFix, it is now known that New Moon will be hitting Showtime for its cable debut on January 8th, 2011!
Back when it was announced that FX had obtained the rights to show the Saga on network television, it was noted that FX would begin showing the films in 2011. So, as New Moon approaches pay cable release, Twilight nears time to hit the networks! Link...

ASHLEY GREENE, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in the fang flicks, told her Twitter followers that she had paid a visit to the wardrobe department this week.

Breaking Dawn 3-D Rumor Busted
The latest Twilight Saga rumor surrounding Breaking Dawn indicated that Breaking Dawn would possibly be in 3-D. Although Breaking Dawn in 3-D wouldn't be that farfetched, Twilighters hoping to see Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner in 3-D for Breaking Dawn can forget about the rumor since it's not true.
According to Gossip Cop, the rumor of Breaking Dawn in 3-D is completely false. After contacting Summit Entertainment about the rumor, Gossip Cop was told by a studio rep that neither Breaking Dawn will be shot in 3-D. “Neither film is being shot in 3D,” adding that the Breaking Dawn rumors were “fabricated.” Link...

Highly Anticipated Role of Renesmee Cullen Now Being Cast for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I

The casting directors are not having open casting calls for this role due to the extremely high profile nature of the project. Rene Haynes, who was the casting director that handled Native American roles for the Twilight Saga films New Moon and Eclipse, held open casting calls for the films. She was quoted as saying, "It was crazy, especially in the early days, in the first four weeks after the announcement that my office was casting these roles we stopped counting emails after 20,000. Twilight Breaking Dawn Film Locales

I have been away for a month, and am now back and ready to blog! Just to get back in the game, I've started with some important stories that broke during my absence.

'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' filming location date details revealed


Back in July, it was revealed that production for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 would take place in both Baton Rouge, Louisiana as well as Vancouver, British Columbia.
A few weeks later, Production Weekly announced that the film "ha[d] opened up new production offices in Baton Rouge, [and] filming is scheduled from November 1 - March 15." Soon after, the site specified that the film had "opened up their Vancouver production offices at North Shore Studios."
Now, Production Weekly has offered up an even finer detail, stating that the movie "will relocate production from Baton Rouge up to Vancouver on January 11th."
Earlier this month, local news coverage from Louisiana indicated that officials in the area were already readying themselves for Breaking Dawn's production and that the general understanding of plans in place was that Baton Rouge would serve as a filming location for mostly indoor sequences. Vampires and ogres dominated the British box office over the weekend, with the latest in the Twilight series setting a new opening record for the year, according to Screen International on Tuesday.

So, here’s the latest vampire-related trend apparently sweeping through middle schools: Some teens are biting each other, usually on the neck, as a way to declare love or friendship.
And, of course, they are documenting the act and slapping it up on Facebook for their parents to see. “The Early Show” reported last week that the “troubling new trend among teens” is likely the result of the booming popularity of the book and movie series, “Twilight” and the HBO show “True Blood.” Link...

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Give Surprise Visit at ‘Eclipse’ Screening
When it was announced that around twenty different stars from “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse” were going to make surprise visit at some theaters in North America, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were apparently among them. On Monday, July 5, audience at AMC Century City in Los Angeles were lucky enough to get a glimpse of the two main cast.
Both stars came in casual outfit with Stewart wearing jeans paired with a black shirt and Pattinson donning a jacket matched with black pants. Seen giggling, the depicter of Bella Swan only said a few words before handing out the microphone to her co-star who said that he hopes the audience love the movie.
