Breaking Dawn Gets PG-13 Rating
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has been given a PG-13 rating. Although actor Robert Pattinson recently questioned the theatrical rating of Breaking Dawn http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifgivehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifn its darker subject matter, the final Twilight Saga film has now been confirmed to have a rating of PG-13.

According to CNN, the MPAA rating for Breaking Dawn will be PG-13 after a Summit Entertainment spokesperson made the announcement on Monday. Despite the rating concerns of Robert Pattinson in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, a spokesperson for Summit revealed to entertainment insider Anne Thompson that Breaking Dawn will be a PG-13 rated movie. Taylor Lautner Takes Date to Canada SubwayTaylor Lautner sighting! At last, the elusive Breaking Dawn star has been seen out and about in British Columbia recently, at a Subway in Squamish! And he showed up with Abduction co-star Lily Collins, who has visited him before on the Breaking Dawn set, reports HollywoodLife. On the hunt for Robert Pattinson in Vancouver? Don't waste your time in the grocery aisle
VANCOUVER -- Robert Pattinson doesn't have time to buy food.
The 24-year-old star has little free time because he is in such high demand and he admits he hasn't been to a supermarket for a while. Asked if he still does his own grocery shopping, he said: "I work seven days a week at the moment and so I kind of don't do it. I don't have time!"
The actor -- who is currently in Vancouver with the Twilight cast filming http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifBreaking Dawn -- says his sparse spare time is so precious to him he even looks forward to getting on a plane to travel from one place to the next.

Yesterday, we were talking about how difficult it might be for Twilight: Breaking Dawn to have http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifanything less than an R-rating.
Even Robert Pattinson said the he wasn’t sure how that would be possible.
But, just think of the pissed-off teens who would then have to wait for the dvd to come out. Or have to drag their parents. Or sneak into the theater. Though there are lots of adults who are Twilight fans, it’s the teens who really are the target audience. So, to make Twilight Breaking Dawn R-rated wouldn’t be the wisest move.
Luckily, a Summit spokeswoman confirmed ”Breaking Dawn will be a PG-13. It will not be rated R.” Link...

Which gorgeous BC hotel did Taylor Lautner and Twilight team evacuate? After the terrible earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the cast of Twilight evacuated a coastal area of BC. This was widely reported in the celebrity press, but no one said where they evacuated from exactly. The Calgary-Herald mentioned "Tofino area." Canadian Press also mentioned Tofino, but didn't get more specific. People Magazine reported that they were advised to evacuate the beach and referred only to "the Vancouver Island beach area" where they were filming.. Another report I read said, "Vancouver Island." 'Breaking Dawn' Cast Evacuated Due To Tsunami Warnings In CanadaTaylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, as well as the rest of the "Breaking Dawn" wolf pack cast and crew, have been evacuated from the set of the movie. The film, which is currently shooting in a Vancouver Island beach area in British Columbia, has been suspended for now due to tsunami advisories following the 8.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Japan early on Friday (March 11).
"Due to the tsunami advisory, filming of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has been delayed," Summit Entertainment said in a statement to MTV News. "All cast and crew were evacuated to base camp. Everyone is safe and sound." Link...

According to Box Office Mojo, the combined worldwide total gross for Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.8 billion (note: that's just box office - not including DVD/Blu-Ray sales, merchandising, TV rights, etc.).
New Moon brought in the highest total bank with over $709.8 million worldwide, but Eclipse was right behind it with about $698.5 million. Twilight was the kick-off for this franchise, but it debuted with an impressive $392.6 million.
The estimated budget for each was as follows: Twilight - $37 million; New Moon - $50 million; and Eclipse - $68 million.
TheWrap.com has uncovered a really interesting set of projections for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 - revealed as part of a pending studio financing movie, apparently - including the estimated budgets for each as well as their projected intake. "Twilight was an introduction to this vampire world. New Moon was an introduction into the werewolf world. Eclipse was kind of a balance of how those worlds exist and can co-exist against the Volturi," he explained. Celebuzz quotes Rob as saying: “You probably can’t go much of anywhere without being recognized. My gosh have things taken off for you in so many directions. Are you enjoying it, Rob?
“I am, I’m pretty happy with the way things have gone.
“I mean, stayed working stayed, pretty happy and I think that’s the most you can ask for.”
However, Rob wasn't allowed to talk too much about the happenings on set as they are in 'lock down'.

'Twilight' news wrap: Jackson Rathbone talks 'Breaking Dawn'
A few Twilight-related items have come about since the last update, so here's a handy dandy wrap-up of the latest in Twilight news!
For starters, Slashfilm opened up the conversation yesterday as to whether The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 should be expected in IMAX theaters this year. As you know, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was released to IMAX for a short stint and broke a record with $1 million in midnight sales. Per Slashfilm, the scheduling situation surrounding Breaking Dawn's release date (November 18th, 2011), with other films on the roster, lends itself to the notion that Breaking Dawn will be hitting IMAX on November 18th as well as general cinemas. While this hasn't been confirmed by Summit Entertainment just yet, the likelihood is certainly there.

Breaking Dawn star Robert Pattinson recently posed for Vanity Fair's March cover. Now, before the magazine is released, some of the photos are already hitting the Internet.
The Twilight heartthrob doesn't disappoint in his sexy photo shoot. On the magazine's cover, Rob is dressed in black pants, a white button down shirt and a black hat. Rob proves that he is as brave as his Twilight character Edward Cullen by posing with an alligator. By now every Twilight fan in the world knows that TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN is shooting in Vancouver, BC and wrapping up the final installment. What you may not know is that even Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson) gets a little cold and needs a jacket. Below you can see some shots (courtesy of Mandy at Mandy’s Mind) of Robert Pattinson on the set of what they are calling “Alaska/Denali”. Now, the Denali Clan are the BFF friends of the Cullen’s and are also “veggie vamps”, they live North of Forks, WA which I didn’t realize was in Alaska, but that makes perfect sense. In TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN the clans have a minor spat and one of the Denali peeps call the Volturi on the Cullen’s. That’s all I’m telling you, find your own Twihard to get the rest of the story.
