News is a little quiet in Twilight-land right now, unless you want to read Rob Pattinson gossip at MyParkMag, which I can't even get into this morning. But there are a few tidbits out there, including this cute article about two guys who went to the New Moon auditions in Vancouver...

Twilight audition a howl

Wayne Alexis and Lee John are two regular Chilliwack teenagers who are on the cusp of stardom.

The two Sto:lo teens are budding young actors who, along with hundreds of others, made their way to Vancouver on Sunday for auditions to vie for a role in New Moon, the sequel to last year's vampire blockbuster movie Twilight.

Not only did the two good-looking, fresh-faced young men (Alexis is 19 and John is 18) make their way through what one observer called the "tantrums and tears" of the audition lineup, they apparently had the look casting director Stuart Aikins was after. Not only did they get a callback for later that day, they ended up being two of four selected in Vancouver, out of the hundreds, that may just get the parts. Wal-Mart announces 'Twilight Shops' in stores to welcome the movie DVD
Wal-Mart Stores Inc (NYSE: WMT), the operator of Wal-Mart Stores, supercenters, Neighborhood Markets and Sam's Club locations, announced on Thursday (12 February) that all Wal-Mart stores and Walmart.com will offer unique a 'Twilight store' in conjunction with Summit Entertainment's DVD release of the of the vampire movie, Twilight, scheduled to launch next month.

The company said, that in an effort to bring customers more affordable access to Twilight items, Wal-Mart will dedicate a special area in each of its 3,500 stores to Twilight beginning mid-March, before the DVD movie release is available. The items on offer will include, the Twilight DVD movie, both standard and special edition, the Twilight CD soundtrack, the Twilight book series, Twilight apparel, Twilight messenger bags and totes, Twilight posters and assorted Twilight licensed jewellery, key chains and accessories.
