New Moon set updates: photos, tweets, and notes
Apparently, according to screenplay writer Melissa Rosenberg, the set of The Twilight Saga: New Moon is "a ridiculously happy place to be." Says she, "Chris Weitz is the zen ringmaster doing a fantastic job. The Volturi look amaaaazing. Michael Sheen embodies Aro so completely, elevating the role to a whole new level. Dakota as Jane knocks me out."
Michael Sheen, who was cast as Aro in the series and who is known for his fan accomodation via Twitter, had a lot to say as well, affirming Rosenberg's note. Telling us that he is wrapping up the scenes with Edward and Bellaand that he had the chance to meet New Moon author Stephenie Meyer, Sheen then went on to say that he "keep[s] forgetting how freaky [he] look[s] with [his] red eyes." Continues Sheen, "[I] think Dakota may look the most unsettling though. So angelic yet so weird . . . like an evil red riding hood." New Moon movie filming update: Robert Pattinson thrown around
While two days ago, Michael Sheen (who will play Aro in The Twilight Saga: New Moon) was among the to-be Volturi vampires (Dakota Fanning and Jamie Campbell Bower included) to arrive in Vancouver, he was a bit scraggly at the time. Now, it appears that he has prepared himself for filming by cleaning up a bit.

Other Twilight sightings: fans spotted Peter Facinelli who went into H&M in the afternoon and stocked up, leaving with 5 shopping bags. Gifts for his girls! Kristen Stewart stayed quiet, enjoying her first day off in a while – not including weekends. And the cutest couple ever, Taylor Lautner and Selena Gomez, were out again last night for dinner, protected by a hulking security guard. Read more...

Billed to play as a werewolf named Paul in the upcoming "The Twilight Saga's New Moon," Alex Meraz says he has met some haters who don't like his character.
Joining the cast ensemble of the highly anticipated "The Twilight Saga's New Moon," Alex Meraz says he has met some haters despite the fact that the movie is still months away into its U.S. release. "Someone started yelling at me because they didn't like my character," he told E! News at a Carrera Vintage Sunglasses party at the Chateau Marmont hotel on Thursday, May 7.
"I play a bad boy, so she got mad at me," the 24-year-old actor explained about his character as a werewolf named Paul. "She said, 'I hate you, Paul!' That was the craziest thing for me - being confused for a character." He added, "I yelled back at her, 'I love you, too!'" Read more...
