'Twilight' Chomps at DVD Release Bit!
We wouldn’t normally report on the success of a DVD release, but since you’re probably knee deep in fake vampire blood and Robert Pattinson’s luscious locks we decided to hit you with the numbers. Summit Entertainment is reporting that you pseudo “fang bangers” accounted for the sale of 3 million Twilight DVDs! What recession? For the other 297 million people who have not yet purchased the DVD, they are currently leaving their foreclosed homes and walking to the local soup kitchen for a Twilight DVD rather than the chowder. Twilight saved Robert Pattinson
Who knows where Robert Pattinson would be now if it wasn't for Twilight.

His friend Bobby Long has revealed what Rob was like before he got the part of Edward Cullen. Bobby told Celebuzz: "Robert lived in a dingy, horrible, little flat in Soho near Denmark Street.
"We used to hang out and play music until five in the morning, really going for it. Drinking and all that stuff."

Robert Pattinson Tips Zac Efron To Take Over Twilight Role
Robert Pattinson jokes that he is in danger of being replaced by Hollywood rival Zac Efron for the Twilight sequels after the phenomenal success of the first movie.

The British actor joins co-star Kristen Stewart and director Catherine Hardwick on the audio commentary for the DVD, which was released in the US over the weekend and is available in the UK from April 6. Read more...

Twilight stars greet fans at Tofino (Canada) film shoot
Small town word-of-mouth paid off for five Ucluelet teens who are major fans of the Twilight Saga film and book series Friday.

Laura Timmermans, 17, and four of her friends went to Pacific Rim National Park Thursday and Friday to scout out what they heard was filming of New Moon — the second installment of author Stephenie Meyer’s four-part series about a vampire who falls for a girl in a small Washington coast town.

“We got there and saw the trailers and the crews and they told us it was a commercial and a documentary,” said the Grade 12 student at Ucluelet secondary school, where Twilight devotion splits the class. “Finally, someone was like, ‘Yeah, it’s New Moon.’” Read more...
