‘New Moon’ Finds Its Wolf Pack!
If you follow Stephenie Meyer’s official website, you might have already heard this news, but we’re bringing it to you anyway. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Weitz has cast the Wolf Pack for “New Moon”, all of whom will make their big screen debut in the “Twilight” sequel.
Joining the humans of Forks, Washington (and fellow werewolf Taylor Lautner) in their fight against the vampires will be: Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman. All the actors are of Native American descent, with Sioux, Purepecha and Hualapai being the tribes represented among the new cast members. That’s a good thing for fans of the series and the Native American community, and it’s been one of the major perks of the “Twilight” name. Everyone loved Twilight so much that the cast don't want to let anyone down with New Moon. Twilight sequel will be harder, say stars
LONDON (Reuters) - The surprise success of "Twilight," the teen vampire movie that boasted a bigger opening North American weekend box office than the new James Bond, could make the sequel harder to sell, its leading actors said.

The movie, based on the bestselling novel by U.S. author Stephenie Meyer, made $69.6 million in movie theatres over its first weekend last month, ahead of Bond film "Quantum of Solace" which cost over five times as much to make. Read more...
