Premiere Date and Location for 'New Moon'
While many are anticipating the latest trailer of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" to come out during 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, details on the U.S. premiere event for this "Twilight" sequel are shared. MTV reported that the Mann Theater website has uncovered the second movie in the "Twilight Saga" series will hold out its first special screening in the States on Monday, November 16. Link...

MTV grants fans another exclusive preview of one of the most anticipated films and soundtracks of the year, The Twilight Saga: New Moon during the “2009 MTV Video Music Awards” on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 9PM (Live ET/Tape delayed PT). After revealing the film’s first trailer at the “2009 MTV Movie Awards,” the network will once again treat viewers to an expanded trailer from Summit Entertainment’s second installment from the widely popular Twilight series that opens in theaters November 20, 2009. Security 'tight' on Twilight set
Michael Sheen says security was so tight on The Twilight Saga: New Moon that people couldn't even take photos on set.
The actor, who plays Aro in the film, told Newsbeat there was somebody who was given the task of preventing leaks.
He said: "I remember someone whose job was containment and I thought: 'What does that actually mean? Does that mean stopping people from getting on the set?'
"And it wasn't, it was to stop people on the set taking pictures and sending them out."
Sheen, star of Frost/Nixon and The Queen, revealed that Twilight fans were actually pretty well behaved during filming. Link...

You've got 74 days of waiting left before New Moon kicks off, provided I counted correctly. Before this roundup, though--with a handful of previews and a premiere date--here's a question for you Twilight fans: do you know anyone who actually lives in Forks? Just a curiosity. I personally don't.

Taylor Lautner: 'New Moon' Is A Love Triangle
Taylor Lautner recently spoke about his personal transformation that he had to go through to play Jacob in 'New Moon'. The actor put on 30 pounds of muscle in order to better fit the description of the character from the book.
"When I was filming 'Twilight' I knew that Jacob's character changed a lot. So if I wanted to continue portraying him correctly, I had a lot of work ahead of myself." explained Lautner, "So as soon as I finished filming 'Twilight' I started hitting the gym, got a personal trainer, started eating a lot of food - good food, of course: proteins, good carbs, cut the sugars - and it was a lot of work, but it was definitely worth it."
