New Moon Tickets Now On Sale
Alright all you Twilighters out there, for those of you who are already preparing your trip to the movie theater to see The Twilight Saga: New Moon this November, you can now do so safe in the knowledge that you’re guaranteed a seat. Tickets for the midnight screenings of New Moon have now gone on sale more than two and half months in advance.
Carmike Cinemas are offering tickets for midnight showings of New Moon on November 19th, at 63 of their 247 theaters. This “early sell” campaign is happening much in the same vein as the (WAY) advanced sale of tickets for James Cameron’s Avatar. Twilight and New Moon set location tours cater to the starstruck
You a Twilight fan? Wait, sorry, of course you are -- it's, like, only the biggest thing to hit the book, movie and Vancouver tourism industry since, well, the printing press, CGI and the Sea-to-Sky corridor.
And, no, that last item is not a misprint. The recently wrapped New Moon shoot has indeed boosted Vancouver's local tourism industry. Robert Pattinson: Edward Is The Damsel In Distress
Pattinson recently spoke about his thoughts on the 'Twilight' series, and how he thinks it's funny that so many people look at his character, Edward, as a hero. Pattinson explained that it's usually Kristen Stewart's character, Bella, that is saving him.
"Bella ends up saving Edward [in 'New Moon'] as she does in every single one of the books." Pattinson laughs, "So it's really funny how everyone looks at Edward as the hero, and he's been continually saved by the damsel in distress." Read more...
