Twilight and Breaking Dawn News for March 10

'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' two-parter expected to bring in $1.2 billion
According to Box Office Mojo, the combined worldwide total gross for Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.8 billion (note: that's just box office - not including DVD/Blu-Ray sales, merchandising, TV rights, etc.).
New Moon brought in the highest total bank with over $709.8 million worldwide, but Eclipse was right behind it with about $698.5 million. Twilight was the kick-off for this franchise, but it debuted with an impressive $392.6 million.
The estimated budget for each was as follows: Twilight - $37 million; New Moon - $50 million; and Eclipse - $68 million.
TheWrap.com has uncovered a really interesting set of projections for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 - revealed as part of a pending studio financing movie, apparently - including the estimated budgets for each as well as their projected intake. If you're a Twilight fan, it's definitely worth the watch - because really, who can get enough of Edward, Bella, and Jacob? - but if you're a real fan, you'll quickly notice that the clips strung together in the video are from previous films.
