'Twilight' Already Gearing Up for Sequel (And New Pics from the First One)! Twilight’s been receiving an insane amount of press recently with its release drawing near. As of now, the film has everything going for it: Harry Potter’s release date (when the next Potter got pushed back, Twilight jumped on the 11/21 slot like a rabid… well, vampire), Harry Potter’s tween dreamboat (Oh Harry, thank God for you that Cedric Diggory got killed because you have about as much a shot of competing with him as Rick Moranis does competing with Fabio for a woman’s affection), and crowds and crowds of screaming, crying teenage girls ready to tear down said dreamboat’s (Robert Pattinson’s) trailer. So what does all this mean? Oh, well, you know – this means sequel plans are underway before film 1 is even released. That’s precisely what Deadline Hollywood Daily’s reporting this morning.

‘Twilight’ Run Time Is Announced As Fans Get Ready To Get Bitten As far as news goes, this posting isn’t about quantity so much as quality. Today, the studio behind “Twilight” has announced the film’s official runtime, and it is three numbers that should bring a smile to the face of Stephenie Meyer’s loyal fans: 120 minutes.

Top 10 Ways Twilight's and True Blood's Heroines Are Alike Vampires are hot these days. Two book series -- both with long runs on The New York Times Best Sellers List -- have made the leap from page to screen. We asked Shelley Harper, a devoted fan of both series, active contributor to Twilightlexicon.com, and the woman behind Blue's Book Club, to share her insight about this vampire phenomenon and its heroines -- Bella Swan (Twilight) and Sookie Stackhouse (The Southern Vampire Mysteries and True Blood).

'Twilight' Sequel Already in the Works?
Here's a question: Should any studio greenlight a sequel based on advanced buzz and before the original even hits theaters? Sure, if you're a fan of the Twilight novels, I suspect you'd want the studio to greenlight, like, a billion Twilight sequels, like, right this second -- but wouldn't it be a risky move? Nikki Finke over at Deadline Hollywood claims Summit's already prepping the sequel (New Moon), though that's about as far as she goes with it. Finke, however, does state the obvious: that even though the first Twilight film isn't due out until November 21, the latest trailer was viewed over 3.5 million times in 48 hours, the Twilight soundtrack has already hit the Top 5 Best-Selling Albums on Amazon (despite the fact that it doesn't come out until November 4th) and the merchandise for this sucker rivals that of the boy wizard, Harry Potter.
