Twilight Writer Sued for Plagiarism
Stephanie Meyer, the writer behind the wildly successful Twilight book, is being sued by a former friend for plagiarism--and production on the follow up, New Moon has been halted as a result.
Heidi Stanton, who studied alongside Meyer at Brigham Young University in Utah claims Meyers stole the vampire story from her because it's very similar to a short story she wrote while they were attending college together.
Stanton filed her lawsuit against Meyer in Utah last Tuesday, April 14th alleging idea infringement. She states in the papers, "Quite frankly, I was shocked when I began watching the movie with my husband last week. I immediately told him that she got that idea from me! I wrote a fictional short story with the same ideas when we were in college together." Read more...

Robert Pattinson isn't a very good runner.
Kellan Lutz enjoyed telling Twilight fans at a recent press conference that Rob came last when the whole Twilight cast went for a run shortly before a scene.

The rumors coming out of Vancouver concerning Robert Pattinson are tough for his giant teenage fanbase to handle. Of course these tweens view Robert as Edward Cullen, his most famous role. Edward Cullen is a beautiful vampire, who despite the fact his nature dictates he drains her blood, enters into a sexless relationship with Bella Swan, because consummation of their love would just be too dangerous.
But, here, in the real world, Robert Pattinson is just a man and no such problem exists. If he sleeps with a few adoring fans or a castmate, what's the worst that can happen? Twilight road trip: American fans get picture with Pattinson
American Twi-hards Leanne Autry and Sara Bennett hit a home run Sunday night spotting Nikki Reed and Taylor Lautner, meeting Kristen Stewart and getting a picture with vampire heart throb Rob Pattinson. (Not the picture above.)
Autry of Nashville Tennessee and Bennett of Columbus Mississippi flew in Friday and had scoured the city for three days hoping to meet the young actors starring in New Moon, the sequel to the hit supernatural romance Twilight. Read more...
