Lawsuit won't keep ‘New Moon’ from rising
A lawsuit filed against “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer will not halt production of the vampire film's sequel, “New Moon,” as some outlets reported Monday.
A spokesperson from Summit Entertainment, which is releasing the film, says “Production is underway, in Vancouver, totally as planned. There is no delay. Whatever you’re hearing about a lawsuit interfering with the film (and) its release, all I can say is it’s totally false.” The film is slated for a Nov. 20 release. Read more...


Heyerdahl cast in next Twilight movie
Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis actor Christopher Heyerdahl has been cast in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the upcoming fantasy film based on the second book in Stephanie Meyer’s popular vampire series.
Standing at 6-foot-4-inches, Heyerdahl will play Marcus, an evil vampire and head of the Volturi. He’s best known to Stargate fans as Todd the Wraith, though the Vancouver-based actor has also played the Athosian Halling, and Pallan in the SG-1 seventh season episode “Revisions.” Read more...

'Twilight 4' is Coming Sooner Than You Thought
In case you were worried that it would be a long time before you were brought the fourth installment of the "Twilight" series...calm yourself. It's been reported that Summit Entertainment is looking to complete the fourth film starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson even sooner than previously expected. Thank goodness. We need to give those tween girls their Pattinson fixes in a timely fashion, or else there's no telling where they'll channel all those raging hormones...
According to The Wrap, "With the sequel to the blockbuster hit 'New Moon' now filming in Vancouver and its sequel, 'Eclipse,' already deep in the planning stages, an individual close to the production has told The Wrap that work on the fourth and final in the series, 'Breaking Dawn,' will start in late spring 2010."
