Pattinson Will Do Comic-Con Twilight: New Moon Press Conference
While Twilight star Rob Pattinson will not do backstage press interviews at Comic-Con this week for New Moon, he and co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will participate in an off-site press conference in San Diego early Thursday morning. That's how Summit is handling huge demand for the film's stars, who will also attend a Hall H panel later Thursday afternoon at the San Diego Convention Center. 'Twilight' fans bring 'Trek'-like frenzy to conventions
Their passion is the stuff of legends. If you throw a convention -- or if you're just selling T-shirts related to Stephenie Meyer's best-selling vampire novels, for that matter -- they will descend by the thousands.
"Twilight" lovers were such a force at last year's Comic-Con, Creation Entertainment, the franchise behind "Star Trek" conventions, immediately began putting together plans for fans of the goth-lite love story.
"We saw the reaction that it got, and that this was going to be something really huge; the fans are extremely passionate," said Creation Entertainment CEO Gary Berman. Read more...

Fame Has Made Robert Pattinson "Introverted," Says Twilight Co-Star
Despite whatever rumors might have made their way onto the Internet, fame has not turned Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson into a world-class womanizer.
In fact, his Twilight co-star Christian Serratos tells OK! Magazine, his newfound notoriety has had quite the opposite effect on the 23-year-old actor.
"If anything he’s become more humble and more introverted," says Serratos, who plays Bella Swan's school buddy Angela Weber in the vampire film series. Read more...

With Catherine Hardwicke and Chris Weitz having paved the way for him with Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon, director David Slade has clearly caught onto how to please a Twilight fan as he embarks upon The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
The film is expected to begin production in less than a month, and Slade is already hard at work scouting potential locations for a few choice scenes.
No, it's not going to be Italy, and the bulk of production will probably take place in Vancouver, British Columbia like New Moon did, but there will be a few choice scenes of importance in other locales as well. Read more...
