Breaking News: New Moon Breaks Box Office Record for Midnight Runs

Despite poor reviews, New Moon, the second installment in the Twilight series, has set box office history, breaking all records for midnight runs with an estimated $26.3 million.
The last film to hold the title? Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which made $22.2 million this summer.
Besides New Moon's impressive debut, Twilight was re-issued on 2,057 theaters nationwide Thursday night and managed to gross $1.3 million. Link...
